Descriere

SKF introduces a revolutionary solution for demanding applications in motorcycle suspensions – the SKF PTFE composite fork bushings. These maintenance-free bushings combine the robustness of steel with the low friction of a PTFE-based self-lubricating sliding layer.
The steel body, featuring high mechanical strength, incorporates a PTFE-based sliding layer for smooth, low-friction operation. To enhance heat dissipation during operation, a thin bronze layer forms a robust bond between the backing and sliding surfaces. The steel backing is copper-plated to safeguard against corrosion.
The composite fork bushing eliminates the need for regular maintenance, ensuring consistent performance. Low frictional properties are achieved through the PTFE-based sliding surface, providing a plush riding experience and reduced wear.
